Mortgage Loan Processor Assistant - Latin America - Simera

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mortgage Loan Processing Assistant to support residential loan operations. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of experience in the mortgage industry who understands loan guidelines and is eager to grow within a structured lending environment.

Salary: Between USD 900 - USD 1,200

This is a hands-on role requiring familiarity with FHA, Conventional, and VA loan guidelines, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage documentation accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and organize residential loan files (FHA, Conventional, VA).
• Ensure compliance with mortgage loan guidelines and documentation requirements.
• Assist with income calculation and verification (training available if needed).
• Communicate with borrowers and third parties to collect required documents.
• Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding loan conditions.
• Support the loan processing workflow from file setup to submission.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely file progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in mortgage loan processing or mortgage operations.
• Understanding of FHA, Conventional, and VA loan guidelines (required).
• Familiarity with income documentation and debt-to-income calculations preferred.
• Strong organizational and documentation review skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Bilingual: Spanish and English (required).
• Willingness to learn and grow within the mortgage field.
