    Roles & Responsibilities

    This role is to lead and manage Allkin Singapore's organisation development, strategic planning and corporate governance functions to fulfil the Organisation's vision, mission and values.

    To coordinate and drive the Organisation's transformation efforts, working in close partnership with the CEO, Strategy & Transformation Director and senior management team to develop and implement change initiatives, and facilitate alignment and coordination of the various change management efforts.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    Organisation Development (OD)

    • Advise and support the CEO and the senior leadership team on the appropriate OD and change management strategy, approach and activities.
    • Analyse business structures, management practices, organisation culture, system policies and procedures and utilisation of resources
    • Develop overall OD strategies and change management processes that help the Organisation to operate effectively to achieve organisational goals.
    • Work with the Heads of various departments and drivers of key transformation pieces to ensure alignment of efforts.
    • Evaluate strategies and activities to measure achievement of outcomes and goals.
    • Organise and facilitate staff engagement platforms for ground sensing and co-solutioning towards the organisational strategy.
    • Serve as the point of contact with external stakeholders (e.g. NCSS) and appointed consultants involved in the transformation journey to maintain alignment of interests and commitments.
    • Any other duties that may be required as part of the OD transformation process.

    Strategic Planning

    • Lead the departments work with Board and Senior Management to drive the development of Organisation's strategic and long-term goals in alignment with its vision, mission and values, and within its dynamic operating environment.
    • Ensure timeliness and proactiveness in strategic planning efforts of the Organisation.
    • Plan for reviews to identify strengths and weaknesses of Organisation, review milestones and evaluate corporate and operational effectiveness.
    • Contribute to restructuring of departments to optimise resources for alignment with business objectives and interdepartmental cooperation.
    • Manage Organisation's annual strategic or corporate planning exercise.
    • Advise departments in their development of annual workplans and programme implementation.

    Corporate Secretariat & Governance

    • Oversee the departments secretariat work processes for and communication to Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Nominations Committee, ensuring effective support of their respective functions.
    • Guide department on corporate governance through familiarity with Governance Evaluation Framework.
    • Lead in orientation to new Board of Directors and Committee Members.
    • Oversee secretariat services required for Senior Management Meeting e.g. call for agenda, minute-taking, follow-ups etc.

    Managerial Functions

    • Oversee the organisation development and planning team, providing leadership to solve operational, resource allocation, work processes and talent development challenges.
    • Nurture and manage a committed and competent team for performance and alignment with the purpose, mission and values of the Organisation.
    • Ensure timely submissions of required reports to stakeholders for purposes of meeting funding requirements.
    • Prepare management reports of department to Senior Management and Board of Directors where required.
    • Work with supervisor and senior management team to budget and draft funding requirements needed for delivery of organisation development and organisation-level strategic activities.
    • Respond to exigencies related to Organisation Development, Strategic Planning, Corporate Secretariat and Corporate Governance functions as directed by supervisor.
    • Manage Organisation's annual strategic or corporate planning exercise.
    • Advise departments in their development of annual workplans and programme implementation.

    Other Responsibilities & Duties

    • Serve on Allkins workgroup or taskforce as and when required.
    • Represent the Organisation in the workgroup/taskforce assigned to.
    • Represent the Organisation as liaison person in external workgroup or taskforce as assigned.
    • Undertake and spearhead special projects, assignments or programmes in the Organisation as and when required.
    • Undertake any other work responsibility assigned by supervisor/HOD.

    Desired Skills and Competencies

    • At least a Bachelor's degree in OD or Change Management preferred.
    • At least 5 years of experience and successful track record in an OD / Change Management role, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
    • Familiarity with OD/change management theories, practices and tools.
    • Strong analytical and conceptual skills ability to recognise patterns and frame issues clearly.
    • Systems thinking ability to see the different levels of the system in the Organisation, their interconnections and interdependencies, and apply understanding to the work performed.
    • Emotionally and socially intelligent ability to work with ambiguity and read group dynamics.
    • Stakeholder management ability to work with stakeholders at different levels of the Organisation to engage them to support interventions for organisational change.
    • Strong planning, organisational and project management skills ability to oversee multiple projects and take on leadership role within formal/informal teams.
    • Adept in strategic management and able to translate ideas into strategies and action plans.
    • Resourceful and able to identify and tap on resources to implement action plans.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
    • Self-starter who is highly motivated, responsible and resilient.
