Job Description:

The Constructability Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.

Develop and implement constructability plans to optimize construction sequences and minimize delays.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor and control construction materials, resources, and labor to meet project requirements.
Prepare and maintain construction-related plans, procedures, and documentation.
Liaise with EDD, Procurement, and Materials to identify and mitigate potential delays.
Collaborate with Project Managers to develop constructability work packages.
Compile and monitor construction procedures submissions from other disciplines.
Attend toolbox meetings and provide safety briefings to subcontractors.
Coordinate and clear multidisciplinary punch lists.
Monitor and report on the implementation of construction safety protocols.
Assist in coordinating area completion to meet project completion targets.
Understand and apply contractual terms and norms.
Travel as required for project-related activities.
Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Degree in Marine Engineering, Shipbuilding, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant apprenticeship training in a marine trade.
Strong understanding of contractual terms and norms.
Ability to travel within the country or abroad for project-related activities.
Good knowledge of Oil & Gas skills in any discipline, with Mechanical, Piping, and Electrical knowledge advantageous.
Excellent planning, organization, control, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Proficiency in project management software and other planning tools.
