A leading International Food Specialties Business is currently looking for an Analytical Expert to lead the team in Singapore. Reporting to the R&D Director, this role will be responsible for leading the analytical department covering the following.

· Develop new methods for Instrumental Analysis & Olfactometric Analysis.

· Interpret and document Analytical Results.

· Collaborate closely with Creation, Application, and Sensory Departments on projects, daily routines, and analytical problem-solving.

· Stay updated on scientific literature related to relevant subjects to serve as a Subject Matter Expert

· Lead team training and development.

Requirements

· Degree in Analytical Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.

· 6-12 years of analytical experience in a supervisory/managerial/leadership role within the Food/Nutrition/Flavor/Ingredients sector.

· Candidates from Fragrance Industry can also be considered.

· Solid knowledge and experience in instrumental analysis (GC, GC/MS, GC/O, Headspace-GC, HPLC) and interpretation of analytical results.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
