- Provide high-quality technical service to customers, including product introduction, recommendation of packaging material design, and conducting trials at customer plants.
- Drive qualification of Dow products at customer plants, via identifying application areas, providing formulation design, and conducting trials.
- Design experiments and organize characterization and application testing in Dow laboratories to accelerate trouble shooting, product qualification, and application development.
- Identify unmet needs from customers and markets, linking them with Dow's technology and products, and shaping them into application developmental projects.
- Closely collaborate with internal multi-functional stakeholders and external customers to explore, prioritize, shape, drive, implement, and lead customer projects and developmental projects.
- Monitor market intelligence, conduct competitive analysis, and develop them into project proposals.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Polymer Science, Material Science, Polymer Physics, Packaging Engineer, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 years of working experience in packaging material development and polymer processing is preferred.
- The candidate must be comfortable communicating in English.

Job Summary: Technical Service and Development Field Specialist to drive business growth in South East Asia for Dow Packaging and Specialty Plastics products and technologies.
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Technical Service and Development Field Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, qualifying Dow products at customers and value chain partners, and driving business growth in South East Asia.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in polymer science, material science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in packaging material development and polymer processing. You will be comfortable communicating in English and have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
