We are seeking a product design intern to join our (TIS) Trust, Identity & Safety team and help shape the future of the region.

Get to know the team

As a product designer on the TIS team, you will join a growing team to design for users' safety and security needs through understanding their motivations, behaviours, and expectations.

Based in Singapore, you will partner closely with another designer and collaborate with

cross-functional teams in Seattle and Kuala Lumpur on a range of problem spaces dealing with consumer and driver safety, fraud detection and security.

You will have the opportunity to design end-to-end solutions and learn about emerging technologies in the safety and security space.

Problem spaces the team have worked on include: trip monitoring for a variety of driving
patterns, tools to protect consumers and drivers in unsafe situations, driving safety report to
improve driving behaviour, and the verification of consumers and drivers to ensure the integrity of the platform. In addition, GrabDefence, an enterprise tool to detect and manage fraud.

About the Role Work collaboratively with your design partner and multiple stakeholders throughout
product, research, engineering, business, and operations. Communicate the user experience and drive execution through design methodologies to
deliver intuitive and elegant solutions that achieve business objectives. Produce design artefacts to support your proposals; including flowcharts, user journey
maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Present in design reviews and join problem-solving workshops, including the planning
and participation of research studies. Advocate for design centered changes and join in design community events.

Learning Objectives Work collaboratively with your design partner and multiple stakeholders throughout
