    Description

    We are looking for Implementation Consultant to join our Professional Services team in Singapore. This role works in a close, collaborative manner with System Librarians, Cloud Operations, and Product teams to provide the highest levels of customer service to Innovative customers.

    About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

    • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
    • Understanding of XML, HTML, TCP/IP, Oracle DB and SQL
    • Knowledge in computers and information systems
    • Experience with Linux
    • At least 5 years' experience in developing or supporting enterprise software using any of the following J2EE,
    • JSON, REST API, XML, Spring, Ruby, Oracle, Postgres databases, SQL, Apache and Tomcat web servers, Bash and
    • Shellscript Linux scripting, Kubernetes and AWS cloud setup, OpenSSL, etc
    • Experience working as Tier 1 level support and/or helpdesk function

    What will you be doing in this role?

    In the short-term:

    • Serve as a first line of technical Support for Polaris and Vega ILS customers
    • Provide standby emergency response & support for System Down/Critical incidents
    • Perform product configuration based on customer requirements including attending to customer service & change requests
    • Change or fine-tune System related parameters
    • Perform problem analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures to prevent recurrence
    • Provide technical solutions & best practices
    • Interact with internal departments (development, cloud, etc.) and customer
    • Become a knowledge domain expert for Polaris and Vega software
    • Provide online and/or on-site assistance and training to customers

    ​With the option of moving into a more project based role where you will:

    • Assist the Project Manager to assume ownership of implementation projects from initiation to close and be accountable for ensuring the ultimate success of the project.
    • configure the system according to the business process requirements in compliance with Professional Services implementation methodologies and best practices, as well as achieving project milestones within the agreed project cost and timeline.
    • provide workflow based training to customers
    • assist customers with the testing of functional requirements, supporting issue resolution and refining the as-built solution configuration in an iterative, agile approach to meet business process requirements.
    • Assist customers during Go-Live and provide Go-Live Support.
