    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Position : Engineering Lead (Agile/Waterfall) - Mechatronics/Electronics/Computer Engineering
    • Location : Kallang Pudding Rd
    • Working hours : Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm
    • Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $9,000 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days Annual Leave (Up to 18 Days)
    • Duration : Permanent

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical support throughout project lifecycles.
    • Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and customers to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
    • Outline the goals for the whole development engineering team
    • Develop and review product requirements, specifications, and technical proposals, ensuring ongoing alignment with customer needs, system architecture, and industry standards.
    • Oversees overall product development from understanding the system architecture, create the development strategy from each specialist team, sourcing vendors and discussion with third part developer to strive toward productization of the project.
    • Supervising and plan system testing, simulations, and commissioning activities to ensure robustness, stability, and reliability of the delivered products.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in robotics technology, contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
    • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to process automation and safety.
    • Handle Risk Management of the development strategy to ensure the project baseline (budget and schedule baseline) will be as accurate as possible.
    • Collaborate with the project manager to generate monthly project report for management covering the schedule, cost and project baseline
    • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing timely resolutions and proactive recommendations to optimize system performance.
    • Any other ad hoc duties assigned

    Requirements:

    • Degree(s) in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Engineering or a related field, and/or equivalent industry experience
    • Familiarity with hardware and software development life cycle.
    • Minimum 3years of hands-on experience as an Engineer and minimum 1 years in Robotics or Automation industry.
    • Minimum 3 years in managerial experience in leading and mentoring engineering team.
