Company advisors include senior executives of leading companies (e.g. Intel) and esteemed professors from leading universities (e.g. MIT). The company is based out of Singapore.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience and Skills)

• Masters/Bachelors (preferred) or Diploma in Electrical & Computer / Materials Science / Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics or related field
• Basic understanding of solar cell/semiconductor device physics
• Experience with solar cell/semiconductor fabrication processes (e.g. wet process, thin film deposition, and/or device/material characterization. Experience in techniques such as I-V, PL/EL, quantum efficiency, optical characterization (e.g. UV-VISNIR, FTIR & Raman spectroscopy), XRD, and SEM is a plus
• At least 3 years experience in a solar cell/semiconductor fab or R&D institute

Tasks

• Assist in the safe and fast delivery, installation and hookup of equipment by working with internal teams and external parties
• Come up with the SOP and risk assessments for new processes
• Perform shift duties by running process and characterization tools
• Ensure that work is carried out efficiently to meet objectives and that SOPs are strictly followed
• Troubleshoot processrelated issues to ensure mínimal downtime and success in meeting targets
• Understand all equipment capacity/constraint issues so as to be able to identify, implement temporary solutions and work with equipment engineering team to resolve them
• Engage scientists regularly to feedback on performance as well as understand the difficulties faced and identify potential areas for improvement
• Evaluate and recommend process enhancement changes to improve quality and cycle time
• Implement process improvement projects
• Conduct process training for engineers and scientists
• Identify potential human error issues in the lab and work on corrective/preventive actions
• Ensure and follow good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties
• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
• Perform other tasks to ensure reliable, smooth and safe processing
