This position is a key contributor for warehousing and distribution activities for J&J Singapore across all MedTech franchises, responsible for driving Deliver Excellence within the operations and providing support to the Regional DC (RDC) and Local DC (LDC) operations.

Responsibilities include strategy planning/implementation, project portfolio management, continuous improvement governance and performance management support.

He/She will provide functional and project management expertise for key strategic projects, that will shape and drive efficiencies in improvement of the operations.

He/She will interface with Deliver organization in the SEA and APAC regions for operations and capabilities support.


Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Work with the Operations Director in strategy formulation and ideation of focus/direction of the Singapore Logistics Hub (SLH) operations
  • Ensure preparation and facilitation of strategy cascade with internal and external teams, as well as championing the strategy with these parties.
  • Manage alignment within internal teams on the strategy, through the use of aligned periodic reviews and feedback mechanisms.
Governance and Execution

  • Manage the project portfolio of SLH Projects with an aligned periodic review interval, working with relevant parties on the RACI matrix towards progress and completion.
  • Manage escalations and connectivity for support if required, for resolution on challenges in the projects' lifecycle.
  • Promote LEAN culture through governance of continuous improvement initiatives that are aligned to the strategy and project portfolio.
  • Define project charter and curation to ensure standardisation and high quality of project tracking, using S.M.A.R.T principles.
  • Benchmark regional or industry practices, and implement improvements as appropriate.
Results and Measures

  • Lead and drive the RDC S&OP forum, from data and results preparation, to the coordination and facilitation of the meeting with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the operations team in the compilation of monthly/quarterly/annual KPIs for reporting purposes.
  • Drive data analytics from performance results that provide visibility to the team on understanding current performance achievements and gaps.
  • Work with KPI owners in identifying root causes and improvement actions that are aligned to targets.
  • Lead the budgeting and target process annually for the Business Plan, June and November updates cycles, for both RDC & LDC.
Engagements

  • Partner with Functional key stakeholders such as RDEx, JJT, Analytics and Finance on daytoday SLH related topics and support in shaping the outcomes/discussions with the fellow managers within the SLH operations.
  • Be the Single Point of Contact for requests related to the overall site needs for future capabilities.
People Development

  • Develop the overall team annual goals & objectives, as well as for indirect reports.
  • Coach talent within the team to ensure growth and build talent pipeline for critical roles.

Authorities:

  • Financial budget guardian for any Investments required.

Qualifications:


  • University/Bachelor's Degree or Equipment or Master In Business Administration
  • Experience in Commercial knowledge and a broader picture in business is preferred
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years in supply chain related disciplines with proven record in continuous improvement and strategic work
  • Strategic thinking mindset
  • Solid communication and collaboration skillset
  • Strong Customer service and relationship building ability
  • Sense of urgency and proactiveness
  • Proven track record of delivering against deadlines
