Roles & ResponsibilitiesSUMMARY
You will manage the trade operations for polymers, which includes handling and managing shipping documents as well as managing all necessary documents for L/C application and bank negotiation.
Liasie with Chinese counterparties, under the direction of the Global Trading Manager to ensure smooth order fulfilment after a trade has been confirmed.
THE ROLE
Responsible for the order to cash process including trade finance functions such as drafting/issuing LC & negotiation of documents
Prepare sales contracts and purchase orders, as well as vet counterparty trade contracts
Prepare shipping documents for presentation
Liaise between counterparties and monitor shipment progress to ensure smooth operation from load port to destination.
Execute post shipment operations including demurrage, AR/AP, freight calculations and running costs for whole shipment.
Coordinate and facilitate complaints/claims until its final resolution.
Maintain Deal Summary and P&L
Ensure that Agents/Representatives and customers adhere to all contracted commitments.
Develop a systematic process for tracking orders and deliver prompt and efficient service to customers.
Maintain a current and accurate record of trades done.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree/ Diploma
2-4 years of relevant experience in containerized shipment
Experience in handling plastics/ agriculture commodities
Bilingual in Mandarin to handle Chinese counterparts
Able to commit a contractual period between 3-6 months
Candidate who is bilingual in Mandarin and is keen in trade operations are welcome to apply.
