- Able to perform a range of acupuncture therapies including acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping and electro-acupuncture.

Description
Natural Therapies & Alternative Medicine (Healthcare & Medical)The Acupuncturist is responsible for the assessment and management of patients referred for acupuncture in various clinical settings.
The ChallengesResponsibilities and DutiesYou will be responsible for the following:Assess and manage patients referred for acupuncture independently and implement appropriate treatment plans.
Report to referring doctor and other members of the medical team.
Document patient acupuncture records and ensure charging are done accurately.
Comply with clinical and service standards.
Practice within areas of professional competence and seek clinical support from supervisor / other healthcare professionals when appropriate.
Collaborate with other healthcare members and participate in case conferences.
Assist in the supervision of Health Assistants and staff nurses in the workgroup.
Participate in departmental QC and other activities.
Assist senior in inventory checks and upkeep of equipment and work area.
Actively update acupuncture therapy knowledge and skills.
