    Head of Network Sector Coverage, Client Coverage


    You will be responsible and accountable for the APAC Network Sector Coverage, Inbound (LAM) business of the subsidiaries of our global clients into APAC, development and execution of business and client strategy in line with global and regional Sector and WB strategy, leadership of a team of senior NSC team bankers in Singapore as well as in the region, focusing on Orange Code behavior and commercial excellence.

    In this position, you will also serve as a senior relationship manager for Network clients and to closely work with the local teams taking responsibility for day-to-day activities related to Singapore LAM business.

    Further, you will also have responsibility as regional account manager (RAM) with the scope to manage the cooperation with the regional subsidiaries across APAC.As Head of NSC APAC, you will be part of the strategic definition of one of the key ING differentiators in coordination with all ING country heads of NSC.Besides being client facing, you will also work closely with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Credit Risk Management, Compliance, Legal, Customer Services, Mandate Approvers, Products and Relationship Managers in other locations.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDefine and develop NSC APAC strategy for ING's wholesale banking business for our global network clients in line with regional and global sector strategy, including selection of target sub-sectors, geographies, clients, and products.

    Responsible for NSC APAC dynamic plan (annual budget) within the region and deliver sector P&L (VR), balance sheet and other sector KPIs.

    Oversee the identification, onboarding and maintenance of NSC client relationships, working in conjunction with ING product and other Sector PAM/LAM teams.

    Business development for ING's lending and non-lending products to existing and target NSC clients, seeking to maximize the opportunities for bank-wide revenue generation through cross-buy.

    Provide strategic direction and leadership to an experienced team of NSC bankers, including ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

    Ongoing coaching and mentoring to the team, ensuring proactive performance and personal development to instill a high-performance culture and achieve target results.

    Ensure compliance with applicable internal policies and requirements covering credit, operational and regulatory risk. Maintain portfolio reporting accuracy and data quality.

    As a RAM or LAM coverage person, overall responsibility for relationship management and business origination and development for a designated portfolio of NSC client relationships, in Singapore and APAC.

    This includes identifying and originating opportunities across the full range of the bank's offerings in Lending, Financial Markets, Transaction Banking Services, and advisory products.

    Primary point of contact for designated corporate clients, serving their commercial banking needs in APAC (as Regional Account Manager) and in Singapore (as Local Account Manager).Maximize ING's share of wallet on client level and grow overall revenues and relationship economic profit of Singapore LAM portfolio.

    REQUIREMENTS10-15 years' relevant working experience in banking industry with strong business track record.
    Strong negotiating, relationship management and critical thinking skills. Ability to see multiple commercial angles within a relationship and the ability to add value to the client.

    Strong client focus and proven ability in team and stakeholder management (both internally and externally).Good analytical capabilities, credit skills and presentation skills.

    Positive thinker/resilience in implementing the strategy.
    Self-motivated, entrepreneurial with a high degree of commercial drive and initiative to grow business.
    Excellent team player with ability to navigate the bank quickly and successfully excelling in a matrix environment.

    Ability to collaborate closely with product partners, particularly in Financial Markets, Transaction Services and AdvisoryExcellent communication skills with strong command in both spoken and written English.

    Familiarity with Asia languages is a plus.
    Strong organizational skills and ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines.
