DESIGNATION :
Programme Executive (YAH)


RESPONSIBILITIES


The Programme Executive (YAH) primarily implements initiatives and development plans that are congruent with the organisation's goals and the needs of the community.

With guidance from the Programme Manager (YAH), he /she will participate in designing the above mentioned initiatives and development plans.

YAH, short for Young-at-Heart is the flagship programme of Montfort Care. YAH promotes a positive mind-set towards ageing and older person.

At YAH, we represent a growing community of seniors who rejection s the traditional images of old age - frailty, loneliness and withdrawal.

Instead, we want to build a more positive, uplifting perception of later life, whereby ageing is being reassigned qualities such as personal growth, fulfilment and meaningful engagement.

We firmly believe that in learning and service, our seniors find happiness as their network of friends expands and personal growth deepen.


Programme Implementation

  • To establish links and partnerships with relevant agencies to determine programme requirements and relevance
  • To identify upcoming trends affecting programme's success
  • To follow best practices and new methodologies aimed at enhancing programme impact
  • To follow service framework for programme work plans, resource requirement and budgeting
  • To follow procedures for programmes pertaining to community service
  • To plan and collaborate with other organisations to achieve programme's goals
  • To support Programme Manager in reviewing the alignment of programme to centre objectives
  • To support Programme Manager in reviewing effectiveness of programmes

Volunteer Management

  • To communicate appropriate programme objectives to volunteers as required
  • To provide guidance to volunteers on executing effective programmes
  • To develop growing team of volunteers to support various programmes
  • To network and build relationships with potential partners that have many volunteers
  • To identify and retain committed volunteers

Compliance

  • To consolidate status of KPIs to Programme Manager and Centre Director periodically
  • To ensure expenditure is within the budget
  • To ensure KPIs will be met within the timeline as per funding agencies' requirement
  • To support Programme Manager in preparing annual service reports by preparing the relevant and required information

Ad-hoc Duties

  • To provide any other support as assigned/required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recognized degree
  • At least 1 to 2 years of programme planning experience, preferably working with seniors
  • Fluent in English and Chinese

OTHER INFORMATION

  • Enjoy working with Seniors
  • Peopleoriented and excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Analytical ability & problemsolving skills to analyse and formulate decisions and make recommendations
  • Ability to design initiatives to achieve expected objectives with the resources allocated
