Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daytoday matters especially Planning and Agency activities in LCMA, and develop, implement and manage comprehensive plans to enhance business performance of LCMA to realize sustainable growth of the Bank and promote the business in Asia
  • Oversee the activities of the personnel within LCMA and ensure effective use of manpower resources jointly with the General Manager, and in particular, provide direct supervision over the Planning Group and Agency Group
  • Supervise subordinates, direct them in the performance of their duties, perform employee appraisals as part of the performance management framework, and plan and conduct education and training programs for them, and assure various risk management and regulatory compliance
  • Supervise the liaison with other departments as required for their respective key business strategies in daytoday activities

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 20 years of banking experience
  • Strong business planning experience a must
  • Proficiency in Japanese is advantageous as this role needs to create regular reports to liaise with Head Office
  • Knowledge of Japanese Banking Law will be useful to perform the role but not a requirement
  • Highest standards of ethics and to embed a strong culture of compliance in line with the Bank's values and policies
  • Communicating effectively
  • Ability to inspire and manage others
