Description
Assist the class teacher with carrying out areas of the curriculum to which they have been assigned.- Assist the class teacher in maintaining a student's eye contact and attention during group lessons.
- Assist the class teacher in preparation of classes and materials.
- Participate in IEP meetings with the teacher and parents when required.
- Assist the class teacher with toileting the children, when required.
- Assist the class teacher in feeding and/or promoting independent feeding when necessary.
- Be responsible for the safety and well being of all students in the class during class time, breaks, lunch, playground, field trips and at the pool.
- Assist the class teacher in maintaining a clean and tidy classroom.
- Participate in teacher workshop days.
