Job Summary:

Facilitate learning and development trainings and initiatives that enable employees at all levels to develop relevant competencies that allow them to perform their roles to the standards required at Bacha Coffee. To instill a sense of pride and passion that enables each employee to become a brand ambassador for Bacha Coffee. Also, to act as a Bacha Coffee ambassador with corporate and private customers at trainings, openings, and other public events such as product launches.

Primary Relationships:

The position reports to the Senior Brand Experience Trainer.

Within the organization, this position has a primary relationship with the Human Resources, Operations, Corporate Sales and Corporate Communications departments in Singapore. The position has a secondary relationship with the General Managers, Trainers, Operations Managers and HR teams at Bacha Coffee subsidiary and franchise offices outside of Singapore. Outside the organization, the position coordinates primarily with vendors and service providers (corporate customers, training consultants, production houses, etc.)

Job Description:

• Follow instructions and guidance from Senior Brand Experience Trainer with regards to all learning and development or training issues at Bacha Coffee
• Demonstrate ability to facilitate all relevant workshops and initiatives included in the Bacha Coffee learning and development curriculum to a professional standard (as laid out in the relevant Bacha Coffee facilitator guides)
• Proactively gather feedback from the Senior Brand Experience Trainer regarding your ability to facilitate to the Bacha Coffee standards
• Ensure that training offered to Corporate Sales partners is facilitated to the same standard as those offered at the Coffee Institute
• Able to multitask, prioritize and execute all learning and development duties in Singapore (Coffee Institute & Corporate Partners)
• Ensure that all competencies developed during Bacha Coffee training sessions (brand experience / selling / serving / managing / supervising / barman experience etc.) are checked using the correct evaluation tool
• Monitor the standards of training that is facilitated or delivered in all areas of operations – redirect or coach any individual who does not maintain the Bacha Coffee facilitating standards
• Ask for assistance with any areas of your role where you are not confident and/or do not have the required level of competence to complete the task successfully
• Suggest new topics or ideas for training that will support the operation and ensure that the learning and development opportunities offered will support employees in all stages of their journey
• Maintain active and high-level communication with all employees in the business – regularly visit the employees in their workspace to ensure that they feel supported and listened to – share regular feedback with the Senior Brand Experience Trainer
• Assist the Senior Brand Experience Trainer in establishing and maintaining an efficient and effective system that records all learning and development activities
• Ensure that individual feedback is recorded for all learning and development initiatives that happen at Bacha Coffee
• Assess learning needs and adapts the facilitation approach to reflect desired learning outcomes and learner needs.
• Responsible for knowledge and skills transfer by delivering learning content, facilitating group discussions and responding to queries
• Drive learner development and commitment to continuous learning by actively providing feedback and learner support
• Evaluate curriculum effectiveness and recommends improvement areas by collecting learner feedback as well as analyzing learning delivery approaches and materials
• Conduct on the job trainings in Bacha Coffee locations in Singapore and globally.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):

• Training completion rate: Ensuring all employees complete mandatory or relevant training modules.
• Knowledge & skill assessment: Measuring the knowledge retention after training.
• Conversion rate: Improvement in the percentage of visitors who make a purchase.
• Customer satisfaction: Improvement in customer satisfaction feedback and loyalty metrics.
• Mystery audit scores: Performance in compliance and service standards during unannounced audits.
• Training ROI and efficiency: Contribution to increased overall sales performance.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
• Trainer Certification e.g., ACTA, ACLP
• Experience in the F&B and Retail industry, ideally experience in the luxury goods industry
• Minimally 3 years' experience in the F&B/Retail/Learning and Development in a corporate environment
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Experience in public speaking
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to build strong business rapport at all levels
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to conduct and follow structured training programs
• Able to work independently, under pressure and tight deadlines
• Proactive, agile and adaptable team-player
• Travel out-of-town and/or overnight from time to time (less than 10%)
• Trainers are required to wear a Bacha Coffee uniform.
• Proficiency in a second language (e.g., Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, German, French, etc.)

An advantage if you possess any of the following:

• Experience in creating training materials or using a Learning Management System
• Genuinely enjoy working in a multinational environment and meeting different nationalities on a daily basis
