Social Media and Communications Intern (Remote, Part Time)

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Intern to join our team and assist in developing our company's social media presence.

This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and contribute to the growth of our company's brand identity.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Create engaging and visually appealing social media posts for our company's Instagram and LinkedIn accounts. Develop captivating captions and utilize relevant hashtags to maximize post visibility across relevant networks. Research industryrelated topics, news, and events to provide valuable and informative content to our audience.
• Social Media Development and Management: Help develop our social media presence. Monitor our social media platforms regularly, respond to comments, and engage with our online community. Stay up to date with industry trends and suggest creative ideas. Collaborate with our Singaporeanbased communications team to ensure alignment in social media initiatives and campaigns.
• Brand Identity and Aesthetic: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and maintain a consistent brand identity and aesthetic across our social media channels. Ensure that all posts align with Potato USA's values, voice, and visual guidelines.
• Analytics and Reporting: Utilize social media analytics tools to track key performance metrics, such as engagement, reach, and conversions. Generate regular reports to measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

What/who we're looking for:

• Background in marketing, design, or communications
• Demonstrated passion for social media marketing and a strong understanding of popular platforms such as Instagram and LinkedIn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling and engaging content
• Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) to create visually appealing social media posts.
• Experience running social media accounts, keeping up with trends, and creating unique aesthetics
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for social media content and campaigns
• Ability to work and learn independently, completing assigned tasks within identified time frame
