Job Description:

• Gather and correlate engineering and scientific data using established and well-defined procedures
• Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external clients, regulators, and project stakeholders
• Perform work in accordance with budget and schedule with minimal to moderate supervision
• Utilize scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope
• Prepare technical work plans and reports
• Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant local, state and federal regulations to ensure compliance
• Perform unsupervised field tasks
• Review analytical data for general indicators of quality for routine analyses based on well-defined guidelines
• Coordinate with task and project managers, work with on-site subcontractors and field staff, support sampling, data collection, and field documentation.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in the field of environmental engineering especially in soil and groundwater.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable meeting with clients, colleagues, and sub-contractors
• Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner
• Ability to learn through on-the-job experience
• Strong technical report writing skills and the ability to develop design specifications

Preferred Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related discipline
