Description

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join us as we grow and expand our operations. Our group of companies focus on import and sale of equipments, leasing, servicing, maintenance businesses.

JOB DESCRIPTION - FINANCE MANAGER

Reporting to the directors, this role is responsible for preparing and overseeing the full spectrum of financial closing and reporting requirements.

You will be working closely with key executives and stakeholders on financial operations, planning and improve in the current processes for improved productivity.

TYPICAL TASKS

Managing an accounting team
Review for completeness of transactions to ensure they are appropriately recorded in an effective manner
Reconciliation of trading profit and loss with financial accounting records
Manage cash flow for the various companies and work closely with bankers, including preparation of payments to suppliers
Responsible for payroll and claims disbursements
Liaise with tax agents for filing of corporate tax
Coordinate and manage the audit process with external auditors
Liaise and communicate with company secretary when necessary
Ad hoc duties as requested by owners

QUALIFICATIONS

CPA/CA qualified with min 8 to 15 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
Understand inventory matters and strong on cashflow management, has prior shared office knowledge and Business process Reengineering
Very handson and able to work independently
Quick thinking and a high affinity for problems solving and solutions skills
Flexible and quick to adapt to a dynamic trading environment
Has initiative
Must be able to work independently
Able to operate with a high degree of autonomy, organise and prioritise workload
Highly collaborative with excellent communication skills
Well organized with attention to details
