    Description

    Leading the IT function responsible for delivering technology solutions and services to meet the needs of its business stakeholders across a Matrix team structure.

    Key accountabilities

    Work closely with Reporting Officer in the IT operating plan and budget, technology acquisition strategy and performance measures.
    Work closely with Reporting Officer in the approval, acquisition and implementation of IT projects.

    Resolve project issues, working with vendors and key stakeholders as required, to ensure the successful implementation of IT projectsOversee the planning, directing, supervising, monitoring and coordinating of vendor and department operations, including assigning work activities, projects, evaluate work processes and procedures, preparing correspondences e.g.

    general and special reports.


    Staff management and development:

    Recruit, supervise, coach and counsel staff, Review, enhance staff performance and develop team capabilities, Maintain team moral and effective working relationships with the teamCollaborate with stakeholders to prioritize, design, develop and implement IT application features and enhancements, ensuring that system capabilities and process requirements are aligned.

    Ensure that the in-scope IT systems are performing optimally, meeting SLAs and requirements of user stakeholders.
    Ensure optimum resource allocation and utilization, as well as, financial effectiveness for the conduct of the IT activities. This includes effective vendor and partner management.
    Qualifications & Experience

    Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent from a recognized / accredited institution with preference in IT or EngineeringPMP (Project Management Professional) or CITPM (Certified IT Project Management) certificationMinimum 12 years' experience in leading medium to large scale IT application projects; from strategic conceptualization to business process review through to system evaluation, selection, development, verification, implementation and live operations
