I am currently working on a number of Account Manager roles within Health and Benefits space for both Insurance and Broking clients.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for overall account managements to ensure client retentions. You will perform essential functions to the quality and service standards sets by the company.

Your role will include establishing long term relationships with your clients to explain benefits, answering enquiries pertaining to benefits coverage, claims, billing, etc.

You will often work with insurance carriers or benefits providers to meet client service and budget needs.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the prerenewal and renewal process. Assess and determine client needs for crossselling opportunities to deepen working relationships.
  • Organize and participate as needed with client presentations, to include employee enrolment meetings.
  • Lead the process for plan enrolment including employee communication, case submission and plan implementation and follow up to a successful conclusion.
  • Serve as resource to clients for current market conditions and ongoing benefit regulation changes.
  • Maintain documentation and system updates necessary for ongoing record keeping and client management.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of three (3) years employee benefits experience required either from insurance or broking company in Singapore.
  • Should possess a clear understanding of employee benefit plans, regulations, and administration for Singapore insurance market.
  • Passed all MAS required certificates.
  • Should have advanced skill levels with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. This includes the ability to develop an Excel spreadsheet and utilise it in performing the job.
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced, multitasking professional environment.
