Managing Editor, Refined Oil Product Markets, Asia (Diesel and Jet fuel)

The Asia Diesel and Jet fuel team is responsible for assessing major global benchmarks in the high
- and low-sulfur diesel cargo and jet fuel markets and news coverage of this very dynamic industry.

What's In It For You

Responsible for developing and implementing assessment and market coverage strategy across the region, especially Singapore which is Asia's biggest oil product trading hub.

Manage and team of full-time and contract staff based in Singapore as well as represent the APAC region in the global residual fuels pricing team.

Responsibilities:

Lead daily market coverage, following trading activity and ensuring that day to day Market on Close assessment process is managed efficiently.

Lead the identification of new market coverage opportunities, engaging with external and internal stakeholders as appropriate for the development of appropriate price assessment methodology.

Work in collaboration with regional and global leaders, showing strong individual leadership and assuming considerable responsibility for the delivery of essential market pricing and coverage.

Assist with coverage in other markets as necessary.

Monitor and drive team's news and market reporting activities, ensuring timely coverage of events and facilitate the development of value-add news/information through multiple channels.

Work closely with relevant units across the organization such as Product Management, Marketing, Commercial, analytics, news and Conferences.

What We're Looking For:

Minimum three years' experience of global commodity markets. Proven experience in leading a price reporting team is a plus.

Strong communication skills that demonstrate good listening, clear writing style, and strong verbal skills. The ability to communicate across a wide range of groups and personalities internally and externally.

Strong leadership ability and influencing skills, promoting team collaboration, development, and personal accountability.

Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset with effective problem-solving skills
