    JOB SUMMARY

    The Director of Loyalty Marketing & Portfolio Marketing APEC is a key member of the Loyalty Marketing team. This role entails:

  • This role involves collaborating closely with global, continent, and area teams to establish a stronger connection between guests and the portfolio and loyalty program by creating engaging experiences that are locally relevant and in line with the global strategy. Additionally, this position is responsible for enhancing marketing performance within the region.
  • Success in this role necessitates strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The incumbent will collaborate with various departments within Marriott's Corporate Headquarters and the continent/region/area offices.

    CANDIDATE PROFILE

    Education and Experience

  • 4-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited university
  • 4-5 years of pertinent professional experience in program management, marketing strategy, digital, or a related area, demonstrating progressive career growth and exceptional performance patterns.
  • Key experience includes:

  • Collaborating with diverse teams to achieve shared objectives.
  • Effective management through influence rather than direct reporting relationships.
  • Project management expertise, with a demonstrated ability to lead multifunctional project teams to drive tangible results and actions.

  • Collaborating with senior management and peers to plan and execute strategies.
  • Overseeing the development and implementation of top-notch Loyalty Marketing campaigns that distinguish Marriott Bonvoy and the portfolio from competitors, capturing consumer and media attention.
  • Serving as a regional liaison and collaborating across the organization/stakeholders to devise a cohesive event strategy and identify opportunities to enhance campaigns through partnerships and buzz-generating tactics.

  • Being the custodian of the Marriott Bonvoy brand in the continent, collaborating with various teams to ensure on-brand implementation.
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns that highlight the portfolio and connection to flagship brands. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, agencies, and vendors to create compelling content and creative assets.
  • Developing and executing comprehensive destination marketing strategies to drive essential performance outcomes (awareness, consideration, and bookings).
  • Conducting/contributing to market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and opportunities for Marriott Bonvoy. Using data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Creating and curating content to support marketing initiatives and engage target audiences.
  • Tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of portfolio and destination campaigns, utilizing key performance metrics to gauge the impact of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
