Packaging Development Engineer - Singapore - RECKITT BENCKISER (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD

Description

Based within the Global Packaging Innovation team, the role is to support the Packaging Innovation manager and the category (Health Hygiene – Dettol):

• leading sustainability assessment for all Health & Nutrition packaging initiatives.
• identifying new platform and technologies/trend to support the NPD pipeline and sustainability initiatives.
• development of new packaging meeting consumer/sustainability/cost requirements.
• help drive structural packaging improvements for new and existing products from ideation to Implementation.

Requirements:

• Degree/Master Degree in Packaging Engineering or related scientific fields - Completion of a professional qualification such as the Institute of Packaging preferred.
• Knowledge in sustainability/environmental impact evaluation and experience in running SIC (Sustainability Innovation Calculator or equivalent)
• Desirable 5+ years' experience in packaging development with Packaging (plastic, metal, glass, paper) - in health and nutrition categories
