Job Description:

Be in charge of plant operation activities, ensure that the biomass plant complies with all regulatory and safety requirements.
To Supervise and oversee daily plant operations and maintenance performed by the Operations Team with shift order and maintenance in compliance with the groups' safety and regulatory quality requirements.
Optimize plant operation according to grid demand and equipment conditions
Ensure power generation quantity, plant auxiliary load, fuel consumption and boiler feed water makeup rate within limit
Approve work permit as per regulation and procedures
Identify the equipment defect and report any abnormal conditions
Assist the Operation Manger in preparation and control of the budget for the Operations and Maintenance Departments.
Support the Operations and Maintenance teams to carry out continuous process improvements
Manage all contractors on site for detect rectification and warranty claim to comply with requirement.
Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance in accordance to the work instruction and procedures
Planning of overhaul, inspection and troubleshooting of Distributed Control System, PLC and field instrument

Requirements:

Diploma or degree in Engineering or equivalent
At least with a steam boiler engineer 2nd class certification
Able to Multitask, meticulous and a good team player,
Problem solving skills, ability to communicate with staff in different functions & contractors
Able to work on 12hour rotating shift
At least 5 years of relevant experience working as plant operations Engineer or Power Plant.
Ability to work under pressure
Experience in Power Plant industry is an advantage
