- Investigate the relationship between catalysts' solid-state properties and their performance, focusing on developing new electrode materials for catalysis.
- Provide support to the research team and possibly lead open-ended research projects under supervision.
- Mentor and guide graduate students while fulfilling other assigned responsibilities.
- PhD in Chemistry, Physics, Electrochemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a proven track record of publishing in reputable conferences and journals.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively in an R&D environment.
- Experience in electrocatalysis, catalyst development for fuel cells, and materials chemistry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated aptitude for mentoring students and producing detailed reports.
- Adept at contributing to teamwork in experimental research settings with a capacity for independent research endeavors.
