Description

Role:

• Design and implement digital solutions to reduce marine carbon footprint, enhance fuel efficiency, and improve situational awareness for customers.
• Establish and manage test labs for development and testing purposes.
• Develop software and algorithms for electrical propulsion solutions.
• Create documentation for development architecture, test setups, procedures, quality control, and other relevant documents.
• Oversee the commissioning of vessels with similar configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to delivered solutions during or after vessel commissioning.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum of an engineering degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus.
• Experience with IoT solutions (1-Wire, RS-232/RS-485, Modbus, MQTT, TLS, CAN automobile, OBD automobile) and secure Cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in hands-on tasks.
• Knowledge of power electronics, motor drives, and marine propulsion systems is required.
• Willingness to attend onboard vessels/sites.
