    Roles & Responsibilities

    We are seeking a talented individual to take up the Finance Director, Special Projects role in our Special Projects team. You will be responsible for process improvement, project coordination and consultative oversight to Gain City Group of Companies.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Participate in the reviewing of finance processes and organisation, identifying opportunities to enhance finance partnering and reduce transactional effort to deliver an organisation with improved efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Facilitate delivery of continuous improvement projects in Finance, system and process changes.
    • Provide inputs into performance management and metrics analysis to support proactive management of the business.
    • Engage across the business to ensure strategic, margin improvement initiatives delivered in line with commitments.
    • Prepare ad hoc strategic and financial analysis as required.
    • Collaborating with business executives to improve Gain City's financial performance.
    • Ensure an outside-in view is considered for all projects, incorporating best-in-class processes and performance.

    Requirements

    • Degree in Finance or Accounting
    • At least 5 years of progressive finance experience including FP&A and Controller experience
    • Ability to develop relationships across senior leadership team in order to gain trust and influence decision making
    • Ability to lead with integrity and serve as an effective change agent
    • Knowledge of accounting, financial, inventory, and payroll systems required
    • Strong strategic / budget development, planning, and analytical ability
    • Excellent understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)
    • Demonstrated success in process improvement and technology implementations in financial and accounting functions
    • Demonstrated success in cost management/reduction efforts
    • Multi-store retail, ecommerce, and consumer goods experience preferred
    • Passion for building and leading teams and development of talent
    • Ability to interpret, communicate and present financial information in a clear and concise manner
