    Roles & Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that the Quality Performance of the warehouse operation conforms to and meets the requirements and expectations of Customers and provides and initiate directions and objectives to do so.
    • Manages the monitoring, measurement, review and audit of internal processes and controls (Quality and Process Engineering) specifically applicable to / and designed for customers.
    • Works with customer's quality team and operation team and gets its cooperation in following the Quality mandates that will prevent errors in the processes.
    • Connects with customers and conducts necessary and relevant meetings, updates, and discussions to address any Quality issues; and pursue continual improvement.
    • Leads and manages a team of Quality and/or Process Engineers who are responsible for supporting the objectives and goals of both Customers and OMNI QAD.
    • Assists OMNI SG Quality and Compliance Head/Manager for quality improvement matters.
    • Reporting on the performance of the quality management system to the company's management for review and as a basis for improvement of the quality system.
    • Liaison with external parties on matters relating to the ISO 9001, AS9120 & SS620: GDPMDS quality management system.
    • Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process, and quality system.
    • Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through Head of Division / Department.
    • Verify the implementation of solutions.
    • Evaluate and qualify potential raw materials supplier.
    • Prepares and review the Quality Manual, the Quality Procedures Manual.
    • Plans and schedules management review meeting as Management Representative (M.R.)
    • Audits the implementation of the quality system.
    • Initiates requests for and follows up on corrective and preventive actions.
    • Ensure inspection, measuring and test equipment are calibrated.
    • Ensure inspections and testing are performed in accordance to documented quality procedures.
    • Ensure nonconforming products are handled in accordance to documented quality procedures.
    • Co-ordinates document control activities.
    • Ensure division / departments involved in the ISO 9001, AS9120 & SS620.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance or related Function.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in assistant managerial/managerial position.
    • Capability in Supervising and/or Managing Quality related matters and groups/teams.
    • Good communication skills (verbally and written) (ex. Report presentation and report creation)
    • Data and objective driven with good analytical skills.
    • Experience in dealing with or managing customer concerns and matters.
    • Knowledge and/or experience in executing Quality Tools and alike.
    • Knowledge in quality related industry standards and practices (e.g. ISO
    • Excellent people and task management skills.
    • Degree in Engineering or Quality or related field.
