    You will be part of the CPeO - Budget Management team is an established team responsible for managing and overseeing the department's budget. We make an impact by ensuring that all financial activities align with the company's goals and objectives.     Get to know the role

    We are looking for a Finance Intern for Financial Analysis. If you believe you have what it takes then we'd love to hear from you either way.

    The Day-to-Day Activities

    • Financial Analysis: Assist in conducting financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes. Analyze financial data, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights and recommendations.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process by gathering relevant data, preparing budget templates, and assisting in variance analysis. Help in updating and maintaining budget models and financial forecasts.
    • Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned. Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and other ad hoc tasks to streamline finance operations.

    Qualifications

    The Must-Haves

    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Google workspace applications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges
    • Previous finance or accounting internship experience is a plus

    The Nice-to-Haves

    • Basic Data Engineering skills (to work with multiple cost data owners who will help with the ingestion and tabulation of data)
    • Dashboarding and visualisation skills in Power BI
    • Project Management skills to help drive the initiative to launch
