Division of Mathematical Sciences (MAS) in School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is looking for a candidate to join them as a Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research in mathematical logic, particularly in the area of computability theory and applications to mathematical structures and processes
• Collaborate with the research team on ongoing projects, exchanging ideas and insights, and contributing to joint publications
• Assist in mentoring and guiding graduate students in their research projects related to mathematical logic
• Teach or tutor basic undergraduate courses for the division

Job Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, with a focus on mathematical logic
• Demonstrate ability to conduct independent research, as evidenced by a track record of quality publications in reputable conferences or journals
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to approach complex problems with creativity and precision
