Operation Manager - Singapore - ARCHERY ASSOCIATION OF SINGAPORE

Description

The Archery Association of Singapore (AAS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join us as an Operation Manager (OM). As the OM, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and managing the administrative, planning, and operations of the association. You will also work closely with the AAS Board to establish governance systems, provide support for Board activities, facilitate decision-making processes, and oversee communication channels for effective information dissemination.

Key Responsibilities:

· Formulate general and strategic policies;

· Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices;

· Work cross-departmentally with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational objectives;

· Plan, develop and implement the Multi-Year Sports Plan (MYSP) in line with priorities and targets;

· Co-Manage the National and Youth Team with Head Coach and Youth Coach;

· Manage and implement the local events calendar;

· Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to meet strategic goals;

· Develop and oversee fundraising and sponsorship initiatives;

· Represent AAS for specified meetings.

Preferred skills and qualifications:

· Singaporean based in Singapore only;

· Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field;

· Minimum of 10 years operations management experience;

· Leadership ability;

· Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role(s) (Experience in a National Sports Association or the sports industry will be a plus)

· Experience in budgeting and forecasting;

· Strong communication (both written and spoken), organizational, and project management skills;

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
