As the first product marketing hire, you will be super handson both execution and also laying groundwork for the product marketing function to scale.

Partnering closely with the product and sales teams, you will define messaging and positioning, create compelling materials for sales teams and marketing campaigns, and launch new products, features, and solutions into a highly competitive market.

And concurrently set up the initial processes and ways of working needed to drive efficiency of collaboration and alignment across the organisation.

The Product Marketing Manager / Lead will initially report into our Chief Experience Officer.


In your day to day, you will

You will:

  • Partner with the design, product, marketing, sales, customer success, customer support teams to deepen our understanding of key user and customer profiles to target, and synthesise insights to inform product communication strategies and opportunity prioritisation
  • Drive the development and execution of high quality content and enablement materials that brings the Terrascope value proposition, key differentiators, and customer evidence to lifeSupport industry analyst engagement by providing content and messaging to support briefings and product evaluations to differentiate our product in reviews and reports

  • Work with the sales team to develop a comprehensive sales enablement strategy, including developing key sales collateral (product presentations, scripted demos, battle cards, brochures, FAQs, etc.) to effectively sell and evangelise Terrascope product offerings to different user archetypes, companies, sectors and partners

  • Support lead generation and pipeline targets together with growth & marketing, with a datadriven approach to optimising our messaging, positioning, and gotomarket plans

  • Build and reinforce a culture of diversity, inclusion, and high performance

Who we're looking for:
Qualities Experience defining and driving product marketing for enterprise SaaS products, targeting large enterprise customers, within a corporate environment and at a growth stage startup A customer and user first mindset that translates into sharp, differentiated messaging & positioning and engaging content across channels Handson problem solver, comfortable in fastpaced, scrappy environments, with a bias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done A deep (and a little nerdy?) interest in how software products work, particularly in the climate space, combined with a growth mindset An entrepreneurial mind, ready to launch and fail and iterate Someone who sees both the big picture and the smaller underlying mechanics Attuned to both in person and remote collaboration, using digital tools and meticulously documenting work A proven ability to work crossfunctionally with product, sales, design, customer success, customer support and more Native fluency in English is required and Japanese language is an added bonus
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years experience in product marketing, including experience with enterprise SaaS products is a must
