As our Junior Video Editor, you'll liaise closely with film directors, the post-production team, and producers to bring visions to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Video Editor in editing footage/video per project requirements.
- Work closely with production and creative teams to understand project scope and objectives.
- Handle raw video footage, select usable sequences, and edit them to create the final cut.
- Incorporate music, graphics, and effects to enhance video quality.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure consistency and high production standards.
- Manage and organize all edited files and backups.
- Stay updated with the latest editing technologies and the industry's best practices to maximize efficiency.
Requirements:
- Certificate/Diploma in Videography, Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, and Photoshop.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
