Founded in 2005, the Foreign Domestic Worker Association for Social Support and Training (FAST) is a charity supported by MOM and is approved as an Institute of a Public Character (IPC).

At FAST, we focus on providing training, social support services and work life balance for the female Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs).


Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement longterm strategic plans in alignment with the organization's mission and vision. Providing leadership and guidance to the team including the effective delegation of work, monitoring of workload, control, performance management and priority management. Coordinating business processes and procedures to ensure the organizational and operational effectiveness and efficiency of the FAST Hub.
  • Organizational Management: Oversee all aspects of organizational operations, including Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Communications, Social Support, Training, Business Development, Clubhouse, Memberships, Volunteer Management. Ensure efficient resource allocation and effective utilization to maximize impact and outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including board members, staff, partners, sponsors, government agencies, and the community. Represent the organization at events, conferences, award ceremonies and meetings.
  • Financial Management: Provide oversight of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Ensure financial sustainability through effective resource management, fundraising initiatives, and revenue diversification strategies.
  • Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards governing the organization's activities. Work closely with the board of directors to fulfill fiduciary responsibilities and maintain transparency and accountability.
  • Talent Development: Recruit, develop, and retain a highperforming team. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to staff members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess organizational performance and impact. Monitor progress towards goals and objectives, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15 to 20 years of progressive leadership experience in corporate, government, or nonprofit sectors, with a demonstrated track record of success.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to envision and articulate a compelling vision for the organization's future.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets and financial systems.
  • Knowledge of governance best practices, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and lead effectively through change and uncertainty.
  • Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to promoting our cause.
