As the key person in charge of the content strategy, the Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Content and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) must be familiar with the different types of personas the organisation is targeting.

Based on data, the senior executive / assistant manager develops the brand's content strategy to engage and convert new and existing audiences.


The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Content and SEO is responsible for creating, editing, and publishing digital content across various platforms.

The person will work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute digital campaigns that align with the brand's overall strategy.


Responsibilites

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that align with the organisation's goals.
  • Conduct research to stay uptodate on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor the performance of digital content and campaigns, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Ensure that all digital content adheres to the organisation's brand standards, tone of voice, and messaging.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, such as freelance writers and graphic designers, to ensure that all digital content is highquality and meets deadlines.
  • Develop keyword plans through conducting keyword research on a regular basis to generate content ideas and optimize existing content
  • Optimise web pages such as the homepage, landing pages, blog posts (onpage SEO) in terms of improving content quality, keyword optimization, and user experience to boost organic search rankings
  • Identify and close content gaps between organization website and competitor content
  • Integrate onpage and offpage SEO (link building) with content marketing, social media marketing, and digital PR initiatives
  • Regularly track and monitor new and existing keyword ranking positions and devise integrated marketing strategies to increase organic search rankings

Requirements:


  • Tertiary qualification in journalism, communications, marketing, Islamic studies or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of creating content, overseeing editorial assignments, and managing publishing processes across web and mobile platforms.
  • Updated on faithrelated news and trends including lifestyle and spiritual practices.
  • Great working knowledge of SEO keyword optimisation, web tracking metrics and tools (Ubersuggest, Google Analytics, Google Search Console)
  • Experience with Content Management Systems like Wordpress
  • Excellent editing and writing skills
  • A creative and critical thinker with the ability to produce engaging ideas on how to connect with Gen Zs and millennials
  • Organised, with a high attentional to detail and the ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams in a hybrid/F2F setting.
