Network Engineer Responsibilities

· Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks

· Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP

· Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation

· Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security

· Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting

· Arranging scheduled upgrades

· Reporting network status to key stakeholders

· Zscaler Private Access policy creation/validation

· Switching and routing ACL creation

· Palo Alto firewall rule creation

· Cisco wireless configuration

· Microsoft InTune and SCCM Configuration

· AAA, Dot1x, TACACs knowledge

· VM solution

· Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) VPN solution

The ideal candidate will have the following:

· Work experience – 8 – 10 years

· At least ITE/Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/BEng/BSc in Engineering /Computer/Telecommunication or related field

· Good understanding of network system, network architecture, routing, switching, firewall and security

· Cisco CCNA or CCNAP certification

· Experience with Palo Alto

· Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels
