Role Summary:
Lead the Tax sub-function and in so doing direct activities that optimize tax amounts paid by the company.

Responsibilities:

In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:

Review prevalent tax provisions and initiate investigation into areas of opportunity. Ensure accuracy of company's tax declarations.
Develops, communicates and implements the strategic direction of the operation.
Regularly leads important regional initiatives.
Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe.
Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise.
Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns.
Identify and mitigate tax risks.
Coordinate accounting staff and assess their performance.
Manage tax provision and tax compliance process.
Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
Lead and coordinate tax audits.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications: - A degree in the related job field.

- At least 8 years or more working exposure or experience in a similar role. - Willing to relocate to the job location.
