We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facility Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our data center facility in Singapore.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of critical infrastructure to meet the highest standards of reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing all aspects of facility operations, including power distribution, cooling systems, security protocols, and environmental monitoring.
- Leading a team of technicians and engineers to maintain optimal performance and reliability of equipment and systems.
- Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Monitoring facility performance metrics and implementing strategies to optimize energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to data center operations.
- Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to support the deployment of new technologies and infrastructure upgrades.
- Responding to emergencies and incidents promptly, implementing effective contingency plans to minimize impact on operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in facility operations management, preferably in the data center or missioncritical environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating highperforming teams.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as Uptime Institute Tier Standards and ISO 2700
- Ability to analyze complex problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
