Senior Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) EngineerJob Description & Requirements

● Generally responsible for Supply, Installation, Testing, commissioning, implementations and monitoring of all Electrical and Plumbing related works at site.

● Responsible for planning, organizing, controlling the project activities.

● Timely identification of materials and equipment requirements and Order the material and coordinate with the purchase department for timely delivery of the materials that satisfies the projects programs & schedule.

● Manages directly and provides engineering and technical support to all the electrical and Plumbing work groups at site.

● Preparation of Drawings, Load schedule, Method of statements, material submittals, BOQ and Handing over documents.

● Submits site daily reports, inspection requests(WIR & MIR), RFI.

● Attending technical, coordination and progress meetings at project site to achieve the target set by the Client / Consultant for the completion of project.

● Complete all necessary technical and business documentation on time.

● Project progress monitoring and reporting as per schedule.

● Undertaking various engineering tasks on site

● Assist with planning and scheduling of site activities

● Carry out inspections, witness tests and monitor quality for various works on site

● Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors

● Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project specifications, and all applicable standards whether local, national or international standards.

● Reporting to the project manager regarding site activities and taking instructions from him and implementing project procedures as per schedule.
