    Roles & Responsibilities

    MISSION

    The teacher's main mission is to provide students with knowledge, skills and attitudes in order to develop skills in the subject.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Teaching Technology and digital sciences and technology in middle school and high school
    • Teaching the digital and computer science option
    • Designing and implement learning or teaching situations based on French programs and standards
    • Convey subject knowledge
    • Designing and implementing assessment methods of student's learnings, in liaison with other teachers or professional partners
    • Ensuring students acquire skills including capacities, attitudes and procedural knowledge
    • Being an expert in the conduct of a class and foster the interest and participation of students
    • Providing personalised follow-up of students in relation with families and participate in their orientation project
    • Contributing to the school's operation and to teamwork
    • Adapting his/her teaching to the diversity of students by providing each of them with the necessary support, and measure their achievements
    • Using information and communication technologies to support learnings
    • Exercise of specific functions (coordination, form teacher etc.)

    SKILLS,ABILITY AND REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

    • French Ministry of Education degree holder or equivalent
    • Deep understanding of the subjects and the curriculum
    • Experience in teaching in Middle and High school is preferable and namely on the final year is preferable
    • Knowledge of the French curriculum
    • Organisational and interpersonal skills
    • Responsiveness and availability
    • Adaptability and benevolence
    • Very good writing and speaking skills
    • Strong teamwork skills and committed to making projects successful
    • Experience as a Form teacher and coordination for the students career orientation plan would be strong benefit
    • Mastery of digital tools and/or experience as a digital referent appreciated
    • Ability to adapt to French-speaking and non French-speaking students
    • Ability to provide instructions suited to a wide variety of students
    • Ability to work in a transversal and multidisciplinary way
    • Proficiency in English (B1 level and above) is appreciated for supporting bilingual students and families

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Full time positon (18 hours of teaching/week)
    • Remuneration will be based on company salary scale
    • Starting date: End of August 2024
