Your tasks

The Role -

This is an advanced role reporting to Head of Resource Development & Planning
APAC. This role requires developing and promoting the efficient allocation of the solution and engineering resources located in Solution Design and Engineering & Automation teams situated across the region.
Guided by the underlining principal of Top Expert to Top Opportunity the job covers the development and planning facilitation as well as coordinating the correct learning and development activities, utilizing SMEs to achieve the required competencies and a sustainable level of Expert, Advanced and Development level Solution & Engineering resources.
The role requires extensive collaboration with other the various functional/country and especially the other team leads within the Function to achieve the highest standard of Solution Design outputs derived by embedding robust and logical design methodologies, standardized procedures and toolsets as guided by Global teams and driving awareness and capabilities of the various technologies available for automated solutions and Value-Added Services.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

Provide the correct onboarding for all resources to ensure all basic competencies are achieved within an agreed timeline.
Manage the maintenance and dissemination of all Onboarding materials for both Solution Design and Engineering & Automation resources joining the APAC SE Community, ensuring a high standard of quality and relevance to current business dynamics and the role of Solution & Engineering within the organization.
Provide and promote the required Learning & Development for SD/EA Resources across APAC to ensure the right balance of competency and Product experienced is available, maintained and continually advances.
Facilitate the "On job" learning of Development resources through the allocation process ensuring specific experience gaps are closed by utilising the advanced resources to coach the more junior team members.
Update and deploy training standard training materials to promote the right usage of the preferred Tools and Templates aligned to Global/Regional SD Initiatives to enable and support efficiencies in Solution across APAC to
ensure resources are competent to develop and deliver high standards of quality and comprehensive solutions with proper reviews to drive optimum offer in alignment with customer's expectations.
Review and improve standard framework materials to promote the methodology of harmonized working way for Engineering & Automation for Retrofit projects aligned with CLDM and company initiatives to support and drive the effectiveness and efficiencies of deliverables from screening kickoff until technologies implementation
Facilitate the deployment of One Consistent Framework single way of working for All resources in alignment to the CLDM deliverables and quality gates
Adopt and drive efficiencies in SE through the roll out of globally defined standards and tools to orientate field SD to Design Decisions, by optimizing Solution & Engineering workstream.
Promote Teamwork and Peer Reviews to maturely validate the prepared solutions Drive the Development of SD/EA to Advanced and Expert Level
Maintain & update high standards for all required Solution & Engineering collaterals for APAC, including but not limited to proposal documents and templates, operational benchmarking cases for target products, verticals and customers as well as additional supporting information relevant to support the articulation of the Solution & Engineering content to ensure company is effectively represented in all proposals and engagements.

Requirements:

What do we need for this role?

Strong and indepth knowledge in warehouse solution design, automation and other modern warehousing innovations (robotics, digitalisation), and supply chain network design; able to develop operationally feasible solution(s) to meet customer requirements.
Fluent in spoken and written English; other Asian/European language(s) is beneficial.
Good personal reference in terms of consulting capability and personal attributes
Solid organisation and coaching skills.
Distinctive intercultural competency: able to communicate with all levels of the organisation, work as a team and build strong rapport and credibility both internally (country organisation, regional and global offices) and externally (customers and vendors).
Require handson approach, able to multitask and work under time pressure.
Strong analytical skills with good commercial and technical understanding of Contract Logistics.

Qualifications -

Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Management or relevant technical field.
