Payroll Specialist - Singapore - AccountStaff

Role:
The Payroll specialist will be primarily responsible in payroll services for the group of companies. This is a hands-on individual and team contributor role and focus on providing operational support.
This position will also work in close partnership with internal stakeholders and external service providers to meet the dynamic needs of a rapidly growing employees within a complex environment involving various business units.
The requirements for this role includes strong verbal and written communication skills, to be extremely organised in a fast growing environment, ability to prioritise multiple tasks along with deep understanding and experience in delivering high levels of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsible for processing and administer employee's benefits such as payroll, taxation, withholding tax, paid benefits etc - Employee Data: Process new employees, transfers and termination payroll
Payroll:
- Process, prepare and submit monthly payroll to the designated bank
- Prepare and submit monthly payroll related reports to the assigned person in Finance within the stipulated deadlines
- Address employee's payrelated concerns and provide accurate payroll information
- Complete requests for payrelated documents including statements and verifications
- Investigate and correct payroll discrepancies and errors
Tax:
- Responsible for all tax related matters
- Work with internal and external stakeholders for the yearly audit matters
- Manage, track and update employee Withholding Tax
- Handle any queries concerning tax including issuance of statements
- Process, prepare and submit tax clearance and year end employee employment income to IRAS
CPF:
- Responsible for preparation and submission of monthly CPF on timely manner
- Ensure CPF contributions for all business entities within the stipulated timeline
Others:
- Handle any queries related to payroll or benefits
- Obtain the appropriate approval and signed off from management
- Be the project lead for any payroll or benefit system updates
- Provide support and analysis of all budget activities, manage and track the HR budget allocation and accruals
- Keep abreast of and updated on Singapore legislation including CPF Act, Tax, Employment Act relating to salaries
- Manage and maintain comprehensive payroll records
- Ensure compliance with Singapore legislation, regulations and meet business requirements
- Work on ad hoc projects when assigned
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management
- Minimum 3 years of relevant payroll experience
- Good knowledge of Singapore legislation
- Familiar with CPF submission, online bank system
- Excellent relationship management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Commitment to the role whatever it takes attitude
