Description

We are seeking a responsible and reliable Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to and from various locations. Your main objective will be to ensure that deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with the established schedule
• Load and unload items from the vehicle using proper equipment or manual labor
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluids, tire pressure, and cleaning
• Maintain accurate records of each delivery, including time of departure, pick-up and drop-off locations, and any incidents or delays
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a safe and secure environment for yourself, other employees, and the general public
• Communicate with dispatchers or supervisors to report progress, delays, or any issues encountered during the delivery process

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to safely operate various types of vehicles, including vans and trucks
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to lift heavy items, stand, bend, and climb as necessary
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
