    Description
    Roles & Responsibilities
    • Act as a coordinator for the admission of residents under Ministry of Health (MOH) Portable Subsidy
    • Perform financial counselling for all residents under MOH's Portable Subsidy, including the preparation of estimated bill size, admission contract and other administrative matters
    • Perform and monitor National Means Testing (NMTS) for portable subsidy residents and ensure the resident NMTS are valid and updated according to MOH's requirement
    • Act as a resource person for the MOH ILTC portal and IRMs or all ECON Medicare Centres and Nursing Homes
    • Assist and provide support to your direct supervisor in putting up application for subsidy Nursing Home for ECON private resident (private to subsidy conversion)
    • Assist Home and Centre in putting up the following applications for their resident
    1. Shelter Home
    2. Day Care
    3. Day Rehab
    4. Home Modification
    5. Senior Mobility Fund
    6. Any other Home and Centre Based schemes available
    • Assist the resident in putting up the applications for government schemes. Applications would include the following, and other schemes that may be available
    1. Interim Disability Assistance Programme for the Elderly (IDAPE)
    2. Eldershield Claim
    3. Medical Fee Exemption Card (MFEC)
    4. Medifund Claim etc
    5. Elderfund
    6. Careshield Life / Medishield Life
    7. Home Caregiver Grant
    8. PGDAS
    9. Silver support schemes encashment
    10. Any other financial schemes available
    • Provide support to your direct supervisor in ensuring that all processes and workflows are customer focused, efficient and achieve the organization's objectives
    • Identify, develop, and implement plans for area of improvement including working together with colleagues as a team within the department or from other departments in a collaborative manner
    • Perform such other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

    Requirements:

    • Diploma in Counselling/ Psychology or Social Services or any equivalent qualification with at least 1 year relevant working experience
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills, team player
    • Willing to work with people with disability
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to work effectively in team environment
    • Possess planning, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Empathetic and compassionate
    • Proficient with MS Office
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
