    Description

    We're looking for passionate, genuine and thoughtful hard-workers to join us at all six of our stores.     Responsibilities:

    • Greet and serve customers.
    • Provide high quality of customer service to customers.
    • Serve foods and beverages to customers.
    • Have full knowledge of the menu to recommend specific items to customers.
    • Barista duties; prepare and serve hot and cold beverages tailored to customer's preferences, clean and sanitise utensils and equipment.
    • Follow SOP on food & beverage preparation and order system.
    • Perform opening and closing duties.
    • Ensure that work stations are set up before the shift commences.
    • Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work areas.
    • Ensure sufficient stocks for daily operations.
    • Minimise wastage and spoilage of food ingredients.
    • Any other duties that may be assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of service experience is preferred but not necessary. Training will be provided to those without experience.
    • Have good work ethics, initiative and willingness to learn.
    • Warm and cheerful personality.
    • Able to communicate well with customers.
    • Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
    • Able to work independently and in a team.
    • Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
    • 5 days work week.
    • Working locations: Tiong Bahru, Cluny Court, Telok Ayer, Neil Road, ION Orchard and East Coast.

    Plain Vanilla Bakery it started out with a simple, earnest ambition to create and share some good old-fashioned cake with our local community; cake that was made with real wholesome ingredients, and was familiar and comforting. In a world of mass-produced confections, we wanted to go back to basics and bake like our mums and grandmothers used to – moist red velvet cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream, apple pound cake drizzled with caramel, decadent chocolate brownies, warm and fudgey on the inside. The kind of scents, flavours, and textures that make us nostalgic for days gone by.
