Assist the Associate Director/Manager, Credit Management in the monitoring and controls of credit risk arising from transactions of clients and Trading/Registered Representatives.

Responsibilities:

The incumbent will:

Recommend and review trading limits of clients and Trading Representatives.
Monitor and manage trading exposure of clients and Trading Representatives.
Follow up with Trading/Registered Representatives on margin calls.
Perform periodic review of instruments.
Followup on accounts with overdue contra losses/margin deficits including liaising with external legal counsel on legal proceedings against clients and Trading Representatives.
Prepare management reports for routine reporting, monthly reports for Committee meetings. Assist in projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements
To thrive and be successful in this role, you must have / be:

Relevant tertiary degree in quantitative field or GCE 'A' level holder with at least 2 years' experience in the Securities/Derivatives industry.
Able to work in shifts (6:30am 4:00 pm, 8:30am 6.00pm, 2:00pm 11:30pm) and provide rotational coverage during Public Holidays.
Able to work under pressure and independently.
Able to multitask and prioritize works.
Pleasant personality and have good communication skills.
Relevant industry experience will be an advantage.
