You will join our Water Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation
department
Ramboll is offering an internship in the Singapore Water Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation department.

As our intern you will be part of a team that works locally and globally with cities and governments at multiple levels, and other asset owners to prepare their systems, infrastructure, and citizens for the future climate changes.

We are also working with major international financing institutions (IFIs) and Donors (e.g. World Bank, Asian Development Bank), as well as private developers. We work within water, climate change adaptation and urban development across all stages of the project cycle. Our projects include ABC Waters Design, Flood Risk Assessments, Strategic Planning for Water Infrastructure, amongst many others.


The daily work will be at the Ramboll Singapore Office where you will support the consultants of the Water department.

Our Singapore Water Department coordinates closely with a dynamic team of experts located across Denmark, Romania, Australia, The Netherlands, and Cambodia, leveraging our global expertise to deliver sustainable solutions.

We are looking for an intern for a
3 to 6 month internship with the profile and capabilities below:


  • Engineering profile: We are looking for an enthusiastic, holistic-thinking and engaged engineering student with a background in either Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering or similar. This position is for you if you combine strong technical abilities with excellent management, writing and communication skills. Experience in use of Excel, PowerPoint and/or hydraulic modelling software (e.g. HEC-RAS) will be a strong asset.

Desktop analysis:Many of our projects include desktop research, landscape analysis, data gathering & review, synthesizing reports, etc.

Content development:You will support on projects and tenders in preparing Blue-Green Infrastructure strategies and designs, stormwater calculations, professional engineering design reports, etc. This will include data collection, hydraulic calculations, management and analysis, desktop analysis, etc.

Communication: You will help formulate presentations, sketching, minutes of meetings, power points, technical reports, etc.
