Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities (Primary responsibility is on Government Commercial Cloud project implementation)

. Adequate knowledge & deployment experience for Government Commercial Cloud' GCC for Microsoft Azure or AWS.

. Working knowledge experience in security Compliance for Singapore Government.

. Enhances team competence by planning delivery of solutions answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members mentoring team members

. Serve as the SME in the development, deployment and management of cloud and on-prem infrastructure solutions

. Participate in planning and deployment of new or enhanced cloud/on-prem infrastructure

. Evaluate and identify appropriate technology platforms for delivering the client's services and work with the division's technical team to produce integrated platforms and service designs

. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices

. Participate in development of Infrastructure technology standards and best practices to help clients in their deployment of applications

. Operate, manage and support the IT infrastructure and services implemented to meet prescribed service levels

. Ensure that project implementation and operations are aligned to client technology standards and policies

Qualifications:

. Diploma / Degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering or Information Technology or related disciplines

. Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience in implementing and managing complex IT infrastructure systems and services for commercial and Singapore government agencies

. Possess good technical skills with working knowledge and experience on server technologies, virtualization, middleware, networking, security, storage, hyperconverged platforms, software defined network, and databases

. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

. Strongly recommended to possess technical qualifications related to Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Microsoft related certifications
